This morning I spent almost an hour talking to one of the great visionaries and minds here in Qatar. In fact, the company I’m working right now is one of his creations amongst many other petrochemical companies here. He’s also one of the most influential person here being an adviser and close friend of the most powerful man here in Qatar. I’ll not disclose here many inside and classified information he shared to me, as we discussed not only his role to our company (as a creator) but also his domestic and global contributions and opinions. We are both emotionally attached while talking – it was really a fantastic experience for me - it was magical!

The reason I’m posting this here is to share the power of Law of Attraction. In the last days, I was visualizing talking to these types of person and sharing opinion and learning from them – and it really becomes a reality as it unfolds today.

Actually, I had another great conversation with couple of great persons yesterday and last week – which I just realized right now while writing this.

Yesterday, while we were in the Board Meeting and in the waiting area - we just started sharing thoughts and beliefs. He’s a Muslim and of course I’m Christian – but seems like we didn’t disagree even a single point about beliefs and life in general. It was very intelligent conversation. His age is like my father and he exactly talks like my father. He’s so caring and loving. Anyway, I was touched of his human side, as I used to know him as tough and cold type of person. He shared to me his beliefs as if I’m his son. He certainly earned my highest respect.

And the other one was last week, while resting and in thinking mode outside our building – one colleague (his one of the senior staff in our company) – he approached me and like magnet, we started discussing first about our working environment in general. The amazing part is, usually once you talked about work – most of the time, you will hear about whining and all discontentment stuffs like we need more salaries, promotions, management sucks, company sucks, etc –but that time, we end up discussing all positive and all things how to improve our company. Its like we were playing a game Princess called “let’s pretend” – we both pretended like we are the department manager of our department and even up to the role as we are the GM of our company. It was amazing brainstorming and this guy showed how powerful his management skills. He should be the manager of his department, or a GM of his own company, hehehe. In that 30 minutes it was like we went to our future and it was really fun experience.

I know most of you experienced also same with me, having some magical experience and having some intelligent conversation unexpectedly or passively – but are we aware about that and are we really paying attention in those magical moments and taking that opportunity to share, learn and grow?
